Photography is a creative outlet for me and a way to share my experiences with others. I first learned photography from my father who was a professional photographer. He has been an inspiration to me for many years. Kimberly, my wife, says he is smiling down at me from heaven.
My father spent time with me teaching film photography in the 70's but I soon gave it up to pursue a professional career in accounting. My accounting career taught me how to run businesses and I've owned or partnered in 6 businesses. Later I returned to photography during the transition from film to digital and have been, for the most part, self taught. I have experimented with all types of photography but I enjoy nature and night photography the most. As in life, photography is a journey. I'm always learning and seeing new things to photograph and ways to photograph old things in new ways.
You may enjoy my photo stream on flickr or visit me on AtlantaPhotos where I have been on the staff for almost 10 years.
I also own a commercial photography business, Corporate-Exposures, LLC. Corporate Exposures provides photography services to businesses including architectural, head shots, event photography and product/commercial photography.
